MRM Group LLC is pleased to announce that Kathleen Pocius has joined the firm as Vice President of Business Development, supporting the company's growth through opportunity identification, lead generation, and client outreach.

Kathleen brings 35 years of professional experience as an educator, where she managed classrooms, mentored staff, and coordinated daily with administrators, parents, and students — developing the relationship-building and organizational skills central to business development.

Kathleen has also held leadership roles in financial and organizational governance outside the classroom. As Treasurer of the Little Falls Football Parent Association, she managed the organization's budget and maintained financial accountability to its board and membership. As a member of the Little Falls Education Foundation, she contributed to the organization's fundraising and community outreach efforts.

In her role at MRM Group, Kathleen will focus on government contract opportunity research and monitoring, business development and client outreach, and pipeline management.

MRM Group LLC has been approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) under the SBA's VetCert program, effective August 6, 2026.

The certification confirms MRM Group's eligibility to compete for federal set-aside contracting opportunities as a certified SDVOSB and VOSB across the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and all civilian federal agencies. MRM Group is publicly listed at SBA's certification registry, search.certifications.sba.gov.

This federal certification is in addition to MRM Group's existing New Jersey state certifications as a Small Business Enterprise (NJ SBE), Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (NJ DVOB), and Veteran-Owned Business (NJ VOB).

THE MRM GROUP LLC was formally incorporated as a domestic limited liability company in the State of New Jersey on June 17, 2026, with its registered office in Little Falls, New Jersey.

Following incorporation, MRM Group was approved by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services, for three state certifications: Small Business Enterprise (NJ SBE), Veteran-Owned Business (NJ VOB), and Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (NJ DVOB). Each certification carries a five-year term and is listed in the state's NJSAVI database, making MRM Group eligible for consideration on qualifying New Jersey state procurement and purchasing opportunities.

These state certifications laid the foundation for MRM Group's subsequent federal certification as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) through the U.S. Small Business Administration.
